Positive Behavior Interventions & Support (PBIS)
-
At Sorrento Primary, our Mighty Mudbugs work together to be Responsible, Respectful, and Safe. These three core expectations guide everything we do, helping create a positive and supportive school community.
Our School Wide Expectations
- We expect all students to demonstrate being Responsible, Respectful, and Safe throughout the school day. When students show these behaviors, they earn Dojo points as positive reinforcement.
Earning and Redeeming Dojo Points
- Students collect Dojo points for exhibiting positive behaviors.
- Every 3 weeks, students can cash in their Dojo points to choose from exciting rewards.
- The reward day is called Mudbug Madness and happens on the Friday following the cash-in period.
